l just adore London town, and part of the joy of being an independent escort in London means I get to explore the city a lot! So this blog leads you into some of my favourite haunts. If any clients need ideas for wonderful daytime treat or evening dinner dates, you can’t go wrong with any of the following places.
First stop the Shard, near London Bridge. There’s really no bad time to enjoy the view from the Shard. During the day (smog permitting) you can see all the London landmarks easily, and it’s quieter than sunset viewings which are extremely popular. Watching the sun go down from the 72nd floor IS a sight worth seeing, if you can bear the crowds. But a night-time visit that reveals all the lights of London twinkling beneath you does lend a magical air to any date, and it’s even more impressive around Christmas when the top 20 floors are festooned with decorations. They actually hold Champagne parties if you love champagne, & fancy a little dance to some great old school music. Or you could just enjoy their unusual and stunning cocktails in Aquashard, the hip bar on level 31, where the Sights are thrown in for free!
Just a 15 minute taxi ride up from the Shard, you pull up at the magnificent frontage of the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, with all its Gothic ornate architectural features, too numerous to recount at first glance. Inside is an opulent blend of clashingly different influences, both intricate and gorgeous in equal measure. I love this place, not just for its luxury Spa and convenient proximity to Euston station, but it has the most divine Roof Garden! A botanical delight and secret gem, hidden away high above all the hustle and bustle at Street level to provide the most cosy inspired haven. You can sip cocktails and enjoy barbecues in the Summer, or quaff more warming shots and scoff their exclusive menu and canapés in Winter months too.
Another experience l never tire of in London town is traditional Afternoon Tea in Langhams, on Regent street. I mean who doesn’t love afternoon tea? There’s such a fantastic range of gorgeous and beautifully presented sweet and savoury patisseries, it provides a sumptuous treat for any date that starts ahead of dinner time, but is too late for lunch. It’s also a really practical light dining experience that won’t affect your energies in the bedroom later…
Virgin Experience days are currently offering a special deal on Afternoon Tea for Two at The Langham; valid right through to 2021, so there’s never been a better time to snaffle one up for future trysts!
In London you’re so spoilt for choice with dining out; it’s often hard to make a decision, but fear not as I’ll make the decision for you:- the Social Eating House is definitely the way forward. Part of the award winning Jason Atherton Restaurant group, their menu delivers really diverse contemporary tasty Bistro food. My favourite is in the heart of Soho, close to all the theatres if you’re after a Show as well. I just love the buzzy vibe of the place, and how unpretentious and casual you feel eating in there. The food is quite simple but just amazing! The place has a lovely mix of both vintage and humble, with mirrored ceilings or polished copper, contrasted against scrubbed brick walls and battered leather seating. You can also be smug about doing your bit to be sustainable, as they only use the very best Seasonal and locally sourced Produce. It’s split across 3 levels, with the Blind Pig cocktail bar on the first floor, main restaurant on the ground floor and an exclusive Chef’s counter dining space in the kitchen. Can you book that for a really intimate and exclusive dining experience? I’d be super impressed if you did!
